St. Mary's Home - photo gallery
We are very grateful to Salisbury resident Alan Doel for sending us some photos of St. Mary’s Home. Alan was a student there in the early 1990s and took photos of the architecture and some of the fine stained-glass windows.
Alan says:
“A few images of the windows, all of which are by C E Kempe (the apsidal windows are by Kempe and Tower, after C E Kempe’s death), one of the foremost stained glass designers of the late nineteenth century. The quality of these windows is superb, and is a sign of the importance of the Home to the great and good of Salisbury.”
